A Million Suns: An Across the Universe Novel

A Million Suns - Beth Revis Review 6 out of 5Eldest is dead and a rebellion is brewing. Amy wants to help Elder, but she is torn between her feelings for him and the chaos caused after the death of Eldest. As Elder struggles to cope with the increasing unrest, Amy is trying to unravel the clues left by Orion about Godspeed's secrets. Can Elder and Amy find the truth before it's too late? This is the second book to Across The Universe. I absolutely LOVED it. This book had me hooked from the first page! I struggled to put it down! It's not often I find an author who writes a second book which is even better than the first, but this book is FANTASTIC!Amy is still trying to come to terms with now having to live on board Godspeed. She is finding it extremely difficult though. When you look completely different to everyone else, you tend to get noticed more. With her pale skin and red hair, she certainly gets noticed - not always in a good way either!Elder is finding out that running a ship without Phydus is making his life extremely difficult too. The emotions long suppressed in the general population are now reaching boiling point. As Amy and Elder race to unlock the secrets hidden about Godspeed, they discover a shocking secret that could change everything.I would like to thank Beth Revis, because she has written such a fantastic story! When I first read Across The Universe, I thought it would make a fantastic movie. Now I've read A Million Suns, I am convinced that it would definitely be fantastic to see it on the big screen, so long as they don't mess with the story too much! I would definitely highly recommend this book, and series, to everyone. I am now looking forward to reading the third book, Shades of Earth, but I'll have to wait until May 2013! (I'm not sure I can wait that long!).
