Haley and her twin sister Lacey are 14-nearly 15 year-old girls who, along with Lacey's boyfriend Taylor and Gisele's great nephew Micah and his cousin Selena, embark on the most dangerous and exciting summer ever.There are magic crystals, fairies, dragons, water sprites, unicorns, Tinker Tinks and the Green Man. Those are just the good guys! Then there are some really scary entities that are truly terrifying!The action is intense and pulse pounding! Diane has written a fabulous story that definitely has the magic touch!However, there were references to the previous summer which intrigued me. They made me feel like I was missing some of the story. I would certainly like to know more about what happened with Taylor and those frogs!This is a fantastic story for the younger readers/teens to read. It certainly kept my attention! I thoroughly enjoyed the adventures of Haley, Lacey, Taylor, Selena and Micah. All in all, it was a wonderful read, and I am looking forward to reading more of Diane's books in the future.
