I was given a copy of this book by the author in return for an honest review.This is a fantastic book for children between the ages of 6 and up.Pibbin is a small frog, who lives in the Friendship Bog, along with his friends. When his friend Sheera, a turtle, is hurt, Pibbin embarks on a dangerous adventure to help find Sweetberry leaves to heal her injuries.This is a very charming tale for young children. It is a very well written story that is very exciting. I found Pibbin to be a very sweet character. He may be small, but he is very brave. All the other characters are also well written. The story flowed beautifully, and is engaging enough that children who have short attention spans will be enthralled!Depending on the child's reading ability, I think this book could be read quite easily by them. There are some beautiful illustrations drawn by Tim Davis that compliment the story, and gives the child a visual representation of the characters in the story.Gloria Repp is a wonderful author, who's imagination and story telling prowess has captured my attention. I am now looking forward to reading the next book in the Friendship Bog Series.I recommend this book if you are looking for an adventure story that is exciting, but not too frightening, for your little ones.
