This is the first book in a fabulous series. I loved this story!Ruby Blue is a fantastic character. Ruby is seventeen years old. She is a typical teen, with an addiction to Converse shoes and ice-cream, but her ability to see fairies is what sets her apart. Her fairy friends are Anya and Brennan. They have been friends since Ruby was five.This is an amazing young adult story that completely had me hooked from the first page! I struggled to put it down, and was annoyed when I had to! The story is completely unique; I loved how it flowed. It was fast paced, full of action and completely entertaining! There is even a rogue dragon! I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Deja Blue! Julie Cassar has written a fantastic tale that sent me on an amazing adventure. Her imagination and her descriptions made the book come alive! I highly recommend this book to teens or if you love YA or fantasy novels. - Lynn Worton
