Review 6******I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.WOW!! I was told by a friend that this book was good, but until I read it, I didn't realise how good! I loved it!I usually do a breakdown of the characters, but this is such a hard thing to do for this story. I will say that each and every one of the characters in this book came alive as I read it. I was routing for Thomas, Melanie and Christopher as they travelled through Europe to England. There were some very sticky moments that had me virtually on the edge of my seat going "Oh, no! Don't go in there!" and "Ewww!". Stu and his students are in no less danger, but they at least had shelter. I kept asking myself: "How long will that last?".The Ragers (as they are known) are the most scariest zombies I have ever come across! They are completely controlled by their hunger, which makes them slightly fixated on one thing - to kill to eat. This story is certainly not for the faint of heart, as there is blood, violence and chaos. However, I found myself completely engrossed and I struggled to put the book down. This is a fast paced story that had me on a roller-coaster of emotions. I was in tears in several places in the book, so you may need a tissue or 10. There is a cliffhanger that has me wanting to read the next book to find out what happens next.Donna Burgess has written an amazing story that is shocking and touching at the same time. I highly recommend this book if you love horror, thrillers or apocalyptic fiction. - Lynn Worton
