I was given a copy of this book by the author in return for an honest review.This is a fantastic novella! It's witty, fun and gives an insight into the lives of the rest of the Garrett family as they deal with the challenges of being sidekicks.I think my favorite Garrett story is Gabe's. However, each story is well written and made me giggle. Grams is a hoot! I wish I had a Granny like her! She would embarrass me terribly, but I would be in no doubt that she loved me! Kendall has her issues too, and her story shows what she has to contend with.Stacey Rourke has written a fabulous series of books that caught and held my attention from the first page. If you are looking for a change from angels, demons, vampires and werewolves, I highly recommend you get yourself a copy of The Conduit, Embrace and this novella and be prepared for one heck of a ride! I'm now looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Sacrifice. - Lynn Worton (WaAR)
