I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.I love vampire romances, so when I was offered the opportunity to read this one, I grabbed at it and I was not sorry.Ainsley Crawford is a fantastic character. She is a caring and loving person, which helps with her profession as a nurse. I liked her character very much. She is stubborn and brave. When she meets Delano Bowen, the attraction to him is immediate.Delano Bowen is an intriguing character. He is a vampire with a mission. He is trying to find a cure for his disease. He has a bit of a ruthless streak in him, but he also has a softer side. I didn't like his actions in the beginning, even though I understood his motivation. However, I warmed up to him as the story progressed. This is a fantastic romance story. There have been many vampire romances over the years, but none of them (that I have read) have used vampirism as a disease. This approach was a refreshing change. I loved how the story developed. There was even a few surprises and twists that I did not see coming. There is a wonderful mix of danger, action and romance that kept me hooked from the first page. The story moved at a fast pace, but was not rushed. The romance scenes are quite spicy, but not overly erotic. All in all, this was an enjoyable and entertaining read! Norah Wilson has written a wonderful paranormal romance that is an exciting and thrilling ride. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author. I highly recommend this book if you love a fantastic paranormal romance or books with sexy vampires. - Lynn Worton
