David has always felt he had a purpose in life. But when tragedy strikes, it leaves him heartbroken and his life begins to spiral out of control. He turns to drugs and alcohol. His sister, Mariza knows that David has fallen from grace, and is determined to save him, but is it too late?I absolutely LOVED this story. Although it is a relatively short read, the emotional pull is intense and had me crying tears of sadness and joy. David and his sister are travelling to Colorado when tragedy strikes and Mariza goes missing. Even though I have never had to go through anything as terrifying as the disappearance of a family member, thank goodness, I know there are many more people who have experienced this exact situation. David is the kind of brother I wish I had; kind, loving and compassionate. When Mariza disappears, David blames himself and spirals into depression.Crystal has written a story that has touched me deeply, and made me count my blessings. I am now looking forward to reading the next story in the series. I highly recommend this book, even if you not religious, as it is a fantastic tale of love, loss, redemption and forgiveness.
